I tried using a slightly older version I had which was a offline installer but it just download the new crap they have and I do not like the fire wall they have I want to continue to use what I have as it works for me just fine…

I'm really sorry but we do not have option to provide you an offline installer for AVG Version 16.1 (it is already outdated and also nowhere available). We always recommend our customer have updated version of AVG protection which is 18.2.
Regarding AVG Firewall: After the AVG Internet Security installation, you can go to it's Menu > Settings > Components > AVG Firewall and uninstall it (If you wish to uninstall).
