I'm getting an error code when trying to retrieve emails that suggests AVG is blocking them. I did a search for that error code and the test is to briefly disable AVG and try to get the emails. If I can get them with it disabled then I know that's where the issue lies. I can't figure out how to briefly turn AVG off. I am NOT a tech geek by any stretch. Getting this far has been a chore. If you have suggestions for how to suspend AVG's functioning for a few minutes please word them clearly and simply. Thanks.

Thank you for the link. I was able to get emails through from 2 of my addresses but the 3rd one still wouldn't come to Windows. I"m moving everything to gmail and abandoning Windows. Thanks for your help.
