I kindly request you to follow the below instructions to disable the password protection.
1) Please open registry editor (http://bit.ly/1NjYbJg)
2) Take a back up of your registry before making changes to it. To back up your registry please click on this link http://bit.ly/1aeiKoa
3) Then follow the below instructions based on your version of OS (32bit or 64bit)
Windows 32-bit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREAVGAWL2014Protection
Change value “Enabled” from 1 to 0
Windows 64-bit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeAVGAWL2014Protection
Change value “Enabled” from 1 to 0

perhaps hit caps lock or fingers off-set on keyboard - whatever - password written down does not work so cannot access anything but 1-click maintenance as everything in program password protected?
