Keep us updated. Thank you.

I have a negative slide scanner, connects to my Pc via USB, which worked satisfactorily for a few years but has recently ceased to do so.  (The change may have taken place after upgrading from Windows Vista to Windows 10).  Could it be a driver problem?  Any ideas for a solution would be appreciated.

I followed your instructions (I think) but no joy there.  In fact, I can see no sign of a driver anywhere relating to this little scanner.

Thank you for writing back to us, Brian.

Please make sure that your scanner is connected to the PC.

We're sorry that the link didn't work for you. Please follow the below instruction and disable AVG Internet Security to check whether it caused the issue,

1, Right-click the AVG Internet Security icon in the notification area of your Windows taskbar, then in the menu that appears, click the green slider next to Protection is ON.
2, Click OK, stop to confirm that you want to disable all AVG protection.
3, The slider turns red (OFF), and all AVG components are disabled. AVG protection will re-enable automatically the next time you reboot your PC.

After disabling it, please check for the issue status.
Also, please confirm whether you've recently updated the scanner driver using AVG Driver updater to proceed further.

Thank you.

Appreciate your efforts in working towards fixing the issue, Brian.
In order to further investigate on this, we'd suggest you to take advantage of our additional support, by following the steps in the email that has been sent to you.
Thank you for your understanding in advance!

Right now, after using the link suggested, I get "Sorry, we're currently hard at work
improving our Support Center.".  But for all other tests with AVG I get no error messages.  The problem seems to be that the scanner does not connect with the computer other than being made active within itself.  Nothing seen on computer screen.
