Firstly I started having a big red lock coming up with with http crossed out with this showing NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID. When this happened I had no access to most sites on chrome. I can't access anything on Microsoft, so I uninstalled google chrome and was unable to reinstall. I turned of avg and reinstalled it. The sites to which I can access is coming out scrambled and in I have put www. to get it running. I was informed it has to deal with come type of certificate. I can't even use my laptop to bring up and login to AVG on my laptop. It's getting very frustrating.

I temporarily disabled AVG as you suggested and everthing worked fine including microsoft and google chrome but as soon as it was enabled all the sites that i had up started locking up including AVG support.
