I'm using AVG Internet Security (Multi-Device) and it did an update (I'm assuming within the last 24 hours or so) where I can see my networks are all set to public but nothing to set them back to private. Previously I used to go to the advanced protection section, go to the network settings and change the drop down from public to private whenever I connected to my vpn.
Hello Allan,
We are glad to clarify your request. Once the AVG Internet Security gets updated, the network profile will set to default one. Here, the the default profile is Public.
Also, in the latest version of AVG Internet Security, you can also change the profile from public to private. If you are not getting that option, we request you to share the screenshot (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Create-screenshot) of advanced protection page. So, we can check and help you with it.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on Answer & then click on the Image [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions. Thanks in advance.
We're glad to know that you've managed to find and resolve it.

I finally found how to access the settings. It moved from the settings section to the main screen. Web & Email -> Enhanced Firewall (open button) and the screen that shows has the list of networks where you can then go show settings -> I trust this network.
