how do I turn on network discovery?

With reference to your Post, looks like we are in need of more information to get a clarity on this issue. The details we received was not enough for us to understand this issue. May I know if you're looking for AVG Firewall network profile (if so, you can open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile), also elaborate your concern about network discovery). We could do this definitely better with your cooperation. You can also send us a screenshot of the issue or the error message.
