Initially, we've stopped the distribution of AVG Zen. Hence, it would be unavailable.
From your description, we're uncertain about the exact post to which you refer & troubleshooting mentioned in it.
You'll be able to change the network profile by : Opening AVG Internet Security - Hacker attacks - Select Network profile from the dropdown box that is in Enhanced Firewall section - You'll be able to view the networks & change the profile with the help of the drop down box beside each network.
If the program doesn't allow you to find the option in the above mentioned path, let us know the version of AVG installed on your computer (Open AVG - Menu - About).
Additionally, you can modify few firewall settings to check if it helps. (Open AVG - Menu - Settings - Full protection - Enhanced firewall - System rules - Enable 'Allow windows file & printer sharing'.

Unable to turn on Network Discovery. Changing settings in enhanced Firewall per answer to question on May 20, 2917 doesn't work and Zen seems to have disappeared. My private network is a wired and WiFi LAN using a Linksys router and is connected to a Comcast Xfinity X3 cable modem. Please tell me how to make this whole thing a private network.
