Network Router Login

Hello, I am trying to access my router through Google Chrome on my MacBook Pro and I keep getting the error message copied and pasted below.  How do I allow Chrome to access the network in my antivirus settings?  Thank you!

Check your Internet connection
Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems, or other network devices you may be using.
Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.
If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.
If you use a proxy server…
Check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server: Go to Applications > System Preferences > Network > Advanced > Proxies and deselect any proxies that have been selected.

Hello Emily,

We can confirm this by disabling AVG protection temporarily.
Open AVG AntiVirus.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Troubleshooting–>Passive Mode".
Slide the cursor to disable protection temporarily.
Check whether you can access the websites through the Chrome browser.

Hello Nisha,

Thank you for your help.  I do not seem to have those options in my program and cannot otherwise locate passive mode.  I have tried to include a screenshot of what I can see, but it keeps causing the site to crash.  The closest option appears to be, under the AVG Internet Security Tab, Preferences, or Services -> Services Preferences.  I hope this is helpful.  Thanks again.
