Network Security Error

I am using Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus on Windows 10.

These are the instructions I was following:

This is what comes up every time I try to send or receive an email. If I click “Yes” then it works and the emails go through.  But, it pops up every time so very annoying.

I am using version 22.3.3228 (Buiild 22.3.7108.439.

I have the latest version of both AVG itself and the virus definitions.

When I open Outlook, I get an error: "The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified." I followed the instructions on the AVG web site to save the MailShield certificate on my desktop.  However, I am not able to import it into Outlook.  When I get to the step where I am supposed to choose the Signing Certificate, I do NOT get the "more choices" option that is shown on your instructions; I just get the message that there are no certificates that meet the application criteria.

Appreciate your efforts in working towards fixing the issue, Marc.
Please clarify whether you use a free or paid version of AVG & let us know the version of AVG protection program (Open AVG Antivirus - Menu - About).
Meanwhile, please ensure that the AVG program has the latest patches applied to it.
Open AVG program - click on refresh icon beside virus definitions, at bottom right corner - Restart computer after successful update & check.
