Hello Jeff,
Kindly let us know if you have installed a paid or free version of AVG program in your 'Dell' computer/laptop .Also please let us know if you are able to find the message displayed as 'You are protected' in the main window of AVG program.
Thank you.
I have a Dell Optiplex, picked it up second hand from a certified re-seller. It came with AVG which appears to be up to date. Every time I run a whole scan, it comes up with no threats found, ever. No viruses, ad ware nothing. I have another pc that I purchased the AVG and it picks up threats all the time. Hard to believe that this pc which I use all the time, consistently shows nothing. Am I just lucky or is there something wrong here?

The AVG window says avg free, it was on the PC when I got it. It says protections are up to date and ready to scan. Never a threat not one. Do you need the license number? Thanks
