Hello David,
Thank you for providing your feed back. Please use this link http://avgread.me/1KBqgGO to show steps to use your schedule scan.
AVG had rocked the same look for years. It was an admirable one simple and intuitive, but had outlived its fashion prime to become a mullet among more modern interfaces. The scan logs feature is not available in AVG 2017 version, our developers are working on it. So the issue will be fixed automatically in the future updates.
Thank you.
Hi, I have posted on this subject before, but since you "helped " me my original post seems to be missing here is the detail:
The system mentions scan logs, where are they?
Daily update of virus definition is not always carried out daily
None of the changes to this product, Internet Security were pre-announced , it was a surprise
The whole appearance and availability of information about what AVG has done or is doing seems to have dissapeared.
This new look, dumb look, inspires no confidence in its effectivness .

Ok I did as you suggested and repaired AVG using the method stated by you.
I scheduled the scan to be EVERY SUNDAY at 1300.
The scan did not run yesterday at 1300 !
Therefore I cannot say you have solved the problem with AVG
You also failed to address the following items in my original Question :
