Previous AVG Protection expired Dec. 23rd. Purchased a new copy of AVG Protection from a retail store and followed instructions to activate the product. Keep getting "AVG website is undergoing planned maintenance" each time I try to activate through avg.com/retail. I have contacted technical support creating ticket number, they tried for 30 minutes without success to activate this product. Stated they would escalate the issue up and I should receive an e-mail after the Christmas weekend on how to fix the problem. It is now past New Years and still have not heard or seen anything from AVG.
Had an issue earlier last year loading AVG Performance, had to have assistance from tech support then also. At that time they did get it loaded and running fine.
Thinking it may be time to look into using another brand of internet protection on my computer. I have been a customer of AVG for a number of years, but loyalty needs a two way street. Thanks to anyone with suggestions that may assist with this issue.

Did you see my e-mail response that I am still not able to activate my new AVG Protection?
An other ideas what I can do? I am about ready to return it to the retail store and get my money back very soon.
