New format of Avast browser doesn't show tabs on separate line anymore

I opened my Avast browser today and was horrified to see that there has been some software update overnight, which has resulted in me no longer being able to keep in view multiple open tabs on the top line of my screen (I checked with my Google Chrome and it still has this multiple tab function).

It is extremely frustrating to have this new format where this multiple-tab-visibility has now been replaced by a counterproductive system of having to click on the little box on the top right with the number of tabs open, which then expands the top bar, and shows me the miniatures of the various tabs I have open, and then I have to scroll and search for the other one I want, which then expands to full-screen.

This is useless for me as I frequently need to switch rapidly between different open tabs for my work. The ability to see quickly all the 10-15 tabs I have open so I can switch between them is so important to me that I am considering cancelling and uninstalling my Avast browser and subscriptions if this functionality cannot be brought back.

It bogs down my workflow significantly as instead of one click to go to another visible tab, I now have to do three clicks at least, plus I lose track and visibility of what's open, whether there are any notifications from open tabs, etc. 

I've looked through the browser settings but cannot find a way to revert my viewing back to being able to see multiple tabs.

After wasting a lot of time browsing through https://support.avast.com/index/, I could find no way of addressing this issue (the same as Elaine Teo had in this thread) -

I no longer have tabs in the AVG browser - just a silly button that I must repeatedly click on to the reveal thumbnail images of my open windows. Then I have to scroll horizontally, using a very thin scroll bar, to get to the actual window that I need to access next.

Sorry - in history, this will be seen as a totally backward step in web browser development

I have tried to do this through the link you have provided above. But there is no clear place where I can submit my request. My inquiry does not fit one of the top 3 boxes, there is no chat window where I can contact someone, and when I try to look around the page you linked to, I found a page called "Troubleshooting update problems with Secure Browser". I have tried to load this page three times now and it keeps on hanging on me. This is really not acceptable.

Please could you give me better help than this. Thank you.
