New install - AVG no longer showing in system tray

We regret for the inconvenience you are facing to access the AVG program from system tray. Could you please confirm whether you are using the Window's 7 PC? If so we kindly request you to follow the instructions provided below and check whether you could enable the AVG icon on the system tray.
1. Go to the start menu icon in the left corner.
2. Right click on it to bring a menu.
3. Choose properties from the menu.
4. Go to the Notification Area Tab.
5. Click on customize to change the settings for each icon that shows up in the notification area.

If you are using Windows 10 PC, please open the settings of the Notification area, scroll down the list of taskbar related settings and click or tap the "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" link from the right side pane.

My subscription was coming up on its expiration.  I downloaded and installed AVG ultimate.  After install the AVG icon no longer displays in the system tray.  It appears to be running in the background but is showing up there.

I am using windows 10.  Once I go into the settings in the notification area, I do not see anything for taskbar related settings or "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" link from the right side panel.
 
I assume I want the system settings but those options are not there.
