The licence still doesn't work. Here's the screencap of my outdated licence. Copying and Pasting the new number into the Licence Number field results in me being told "An error occured when saving the configuration. The Licence Number is not valid. Please verify the Licence Number has been entered correctly and entire (copied from the e-mail, registration card or retail package label)"

I currently don't have regular access to the internet, which is why some of my replies have come slowly.

For a while now, AVG has told me that my licence is invalid and needs to be renewed. Opening a bank statement today, I see that AVG has automatically charged me for a new 24 month subscription, and yet, my copy of AVG still flags up an error, claiming that my number is invalid. Using online Support, I was able to track down my updated licence number, and yet, again, when I enter it into my copy of AVG, I am told: "The licence number is not valid."

This is something I need sorted soon, as I don't feel comfortable about money being taken from my account and gaining nothing.

David, For info have a look @ this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-upgrade-AVG-8-5-9-0-2011-or-2012-to-the-latest-version). If you are using an older version of AVG, e.g. AVG 8.5, 9.0, 2011, 2012 or 2013, you can easily upgrade to the latest version. You can install AVG 2014 at no additional cost and your license expiration date will not be affected.

It can't be used because you have AVG 9 installed please upgrade AVG to latest version.
