I recently changed the network connection on my desktop computer from a direct connection to the router modem to a connection through a network switch.
Now every time I start my computer AVG tells me I have a new network connection and because it is a known network it will make the same firewall settings.
How can I get rid of this annoyance.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please open your network connections page from control panel and ensure that you have deleted the old connection(LAN network) from your pc.
