New PC - Can't activate

I followed the email and had someone remote onto my machine. They were unable to fix it and simply said "our servers are unavailable" and asked me to try again in 5 or 6 hours. I have tried multiple times over the last day and a half with the same result. The agent also said someone would contact me for further assitance, which hasn't happened. Could I get a solution to this issue please?

From your description, it seems that the program on your computer is unable to communicate with our server.
In this regard, we'd suggest you to try changing DNS settings on your computer & let us know if it helps.
Also, clarify whether you've removed AVG programs from your old computer.

Hi, 

I recently got a new PC and am trying to install AVG on the new device. I can download the programs, install them, but I can't activate them. I can type (or paste) the activation code from my sub, but I continually get the error "Sorry, our servers aren't responding right now. Please try again later."

I have perfect internet connection and am able to log in to my account, and the servers don't appear to be down at the moment. Could you help? Thank you.

They were unable to resolve the issue and merely stated that "our servers are unavailable" and advised me to try again in a few hours. Over the past day and a half, I tried numerous times with the same outcome. The agent also promised to get in touch with me for additional assistance, but this hasn't happened.
