New product activation problem

My subscription of Internet Security is expiring soon but I've had a new product key on hold for quite awhile and when I try to activate it through my AVG account I get an error that "something went wrong". It seems not to have a problem with the code but when it asks for my name, email, and zip that's when I get the error message.
