New Subscription

You sent me messages when my old subscription was close to expiring.  Before it expired, I bought a new one.  I now get messages saying my subscription has expired.  I am asked to provide a new licence no. to update my account.  I have no new licence no. as none was given to me.  I do, however, have an order number  700 3935619.  In trying to get to the bottom of this problem, I was on a page that asked some information including my e-mail address.  The message back is that you don't have that email address on file.  It's the only one I have and I got to you here by using the e-mail address said to be unacceptable.  What do I do now??  Am I protected??  Please send me an email and provide all details…I don't think this forum is the place to communicate.  I am sure you have it…look up the order number!

Why am I still getting pop-up notices that my account is out of date?  I can't even start a scan so it appears that I am not covered.  Please help!

Hello Chris, I guess you would have not uninstalled the previous version of your AVG program and that is the reason for this issue. I would request you to follow the below mentioned instructions once:

1) First step is to use AVG Remover tool and uninstall your AVG antivirus program completely. To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link:For 32-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x86_2015_5501.exe
For 64-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.

  1. Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
    NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually. To uninstall AVG Zen please go to control panel.
