Nothing has worked so far. The last thing I was told was that the issue would be fixed in version 6.11 by the end of July. It's now September and I'm still seeing version 6.10.13.
Is this problem now solved and how?
I have since a few months the same problem.
It used to work fine with my old phone untill some months ago. I came across a message on your support pages that it was something you were working on.Is it fixed?
I have tried all instructions. Reinstalling several times, clearing caches, even did a hard reset of my phone.
I have now a new phone with exactly the same problems.
I am trying to reach support, but the make me run in circles reffering me to other departments and back to websites which I used in teh first place to get a solution.
I am fed up with this.
Fix your stuff immediately or sent android users involved just a license code they can use for now,

We have to activate AVG Antivirus pro on your Android device to resolve this issue. Please follow the below instructions to know how to activate the AVG subscription in your Android device:
1. Open AVG Antivirus in your device.
2. Tap on drawer on top-left and select Login or My Account.
3. Enter AVG My Account email () and password and activate your paid subscription.

I just changed from the free Anti-Virus to the paid AVG Internet Security and Password Protection. My receipt says "unlimited devices" but I still seem to have just the free version on my Android phone that asks me to upgrade. How do I get the paid version?

Could you provide a screenshot (http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of that message? Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions. Does your AVG Anti Virus still says it is a free version or upgraded to Pro after logging in?
I am logged in to the Play Store. AVG on phone says "You are connected as xxxxxxxx@xtra.co.nz. Now you can see your device information from computer." But I can't see anything about any devices on the PC.
That's what I've done over and over and it still looks like the pics above.

Please uninstall AVG from your mobile device and reinstall the latest version from Google Play Store and check if you are able to activate AVG.
Debbie, the support for mobile products is available only through Email.
To get that option, it is necessary to choose operating system as "Android" in this https://support.avg.com/support_contact_form?l=&retUrl=support_sales link.
Once you submit the request, you will get assistance via email as soon as possible.

To best assist you with this, I suggest you to get connected with our mobile support and they will assist you further with the activation.
Please click on the following link ( http://avgclick.me/AVGtechnical ) and fill out your details, select platform as "Android" and the name of AVG Program that you have installed on your mobile. In the description please completely explain your issue and click on "Email" option. When filling out your details choose "Yes" to the question "Are you currently using any paid/trial AVG products?" even though you may be using the Free version. The AVG mobile team will reply to you via email with a resolution.
Yes, download the free version from the "Google Play Store" and once the program gets installed, login to your AVG MyAccount from the interface to activate the product.

Debbie, please make sure that you are logged in to Google play store on your Android device with your registered email address (xxxxxxx@xtra.co.nz) which is mandatory to activate the Pro version.
