I will be reverting to the last version of AVG TuneUp that was released before the UI update and blocking the updater for a while.
I'm no stranger to UI refreshments and community backlash following new design choices. I'm also aware that the UI is not the only thing that's new. But I feel like the current version of TuneUp is confusing and has too many bugs.
Just to name two examples, the Sleep Mode screen has OFF buttons. Some are grayed out, some aren't. What does OFF even mean? It isn't mentioned anywhere. Does OFF mean the app is off or sleep mode is off? The first time I saw this page everything was already off and nothing gets moved out of the way when turned off or on (like it used to be) and apps that have a lot of "impact" are still always at the top. It used to be a lot clearer in the previous version.
I was going to wait until the next update to see if things get optimized, but the app just now bothered to tell me that I should update my Firefox 128.0.3 to 128.0.2 because I'm running an older version. This is nonsense.
I know this is the AVG Community and I'm not sure if the developers are reading any of the posts, but at this point it doesn't matter. They have 200 days to make improvements.
