New Upgrade to AVG Internet Security from AVG Antivirus

I have had the same upgrade with the same problems, and now cannot access Chrome as it says "Not Secure" and "My connection is not private". I was using Chrome when the update occurred and now cannot access any webpages - how can I fix this?

Can you also tell me if I will be charged extra for this "upgrade" as I renewed my Anti-Virus subscription which is half the price a month ago.

I'm pretty upset with this latest move by AVG to improve my product. I had a Tech on this am remotely trying to solve my problem with significant lag while on the internet.  He was not successful. Seems that there is more than one bug that needs to be fixed with this version. The complete virus scan takes for ever to run unlike the old one that took about thirty minutes. My AVG menu  keeps on telling me that the last scan was run a "few seconds" ago which is not true. The same for the last virus definition update.  Just about getting ready to pull the plug on AVG in favour of a more reliable product. Finally, my AVG antivirus was exactly all I needed to have. I already have a firewall from a competitor. Point is I didn't need an upgrade that doesn't really work all that well. Am I the only person having issues with the latest upgrade to AVG Internet. I'm told that AVG Antivirus is no longer available
