Hi John,
I have checked the details and to perform the daily scan Please open the AVG and look at the bottom of the AVG Interface, you can see the option named as scan computer.
Please click on the 'scan computer' option to perform the scan process in AVG. Also you can set the scheduled scan using the scab settings option.

This has been downloaded to my machine today.
Can't find the settings for when it does the daily scan, or has this been deleted from new version?

OK, I accept it's a typo.
But I have now set the new system up for a daily scehuded scan
But is this really required?

But where is the "scab" settings option??

In the past when new versions of AVG have been issued the settings of current version have been installed.
This appears not to be the case in this new version as the "Scheduled Scan data" was not set.
Perhaps this is of interest to your installation team.
