Hi Scott,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please let us know the browser in which you're receiving this pop up & share us the screenshot of it for better clarity (if possible).
However, upon researching it seems to be an adware. This might happen due to presence of unwanted applications or extensions installed on your computer/browser without your knowledge.
Have anyone seen a popup malware called news-paperz.com? if so how do you remove?
Thanks

Thank you for the information, Scott.
Please reset both of your browsers (Google chrome and edge) as mentioned in this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Reset-browser) and verify the status.
If the same pop-up occur again, attach the screenshot (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=AVG-Create-screenshot&supportType=home) of the same to get a better clarity and assist further.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
I’m not sure which browser as it is mimicking a windows 10 notification. When it happened I had chrome and edge open.
