Hi thanks for your answer,
but i already use expections like discribe in your link, and i cant add sub-directories/path to point binaries or libriairies.
The problem remain and i still need to deactivate AVG to start mining after launch nicehash (who use multiple binaries included in subdirectories).
I guess you have to install create an account and start mining in your labs to fully test ;)
Regards.
I've had the same problem. I am using nice hash and even though I faithfully add exceptions, it still consistently quarantines the executable file.
In the past, if I turned AVG off, then started NiceHash, then turned AVG back on, AVG would leave NiceHash alone. Now, AVG constantly battles with NiceHash, constantly shutting it down every time it tries to run.
I've been running NiceHash for over a year and sent the executable to AVG for analysis several times. Isn't this enough time to determine that NiceHash isn't malware and that some users may legitimately want to run it while at the same time be protected by AVG from actual malware?

Hi,
I'm using AVG free on my windows10 pro 64.
I m using crypto mining (GPU) => nicehash (https://www.nicehash.com/)
For that i created exeptions rules in AVG for entire directorie to ignore (C:\Users\MYUSER\AppData\Local\Programs\NiceHash Miner\*, no more quarantine of binaries ... but i must deativate AVG to use binaries and to do mining.
Could you give me a correct way to configure your product to avoid deactivation every time i launch nicehash and the binaries associated (or upgrade librairies/binaries) ?
I had to change from bitdefender because they messed up with exeptions/quarantine in their last major upgrades .. i don't want to do the same with AVG ..
Regards.
