When I attempt to activate a scan, AVG tells me that it has no active components.
In accordance with the suggestion on your help page, I have attempted a repair however after several hours it hadn't finished and I shut it down.
Now, when I attempt to start again, AVG tells me that I already have an application running and therefore I can't go any further, ie an error message.
Please help as I suspect all of my protections are not functioning.
