No automatic maintenance

I have AVG Tuneup. Computer shows automatic maintenance is on.
I only use the computer once every 2-3 weeks. Each time I turn it on automatic maintenance shows up as being "on" but from the last date of usage. I then have to go through all the stages of tuning it up (time consuming) rather than it being done automatically upon starting up the computer. 
How do I fix this problem?

We're glad to clarify this for you.
AVG TuneUp scans your PC every 7 days. Automatic Maintenance is only run if the scan reveals one of the following issues:

  • 100 MB or more of cleanable space on your system.
  • 100 or more broken registry items.
  • 100 or more broken shortcuts.
  • 100 or more tracking cookies.
Since, you use your computer only once every 2-3 weeks, it seems that the program didn't find the above mentioned items.

  • 100 or more broken registry items.
  • 100 or more broken shortcuts.
  • 100 or more tracking cookies.
Since, you use your computer only once every 2-3 weeks, it seems that the program didn't find the above mentioned items.
