No avg icon on desktop showing it is running and up to date

i accidently closed the desktop icon this morning.  When i rebooted it did not come back.  i updated roem 2013 to 2015.  still no icon.  then i went to control panel and ran the repair.  I still have no icon showing avg is running and up to date.
