SO after my PC failed to start multiple times and checking hardware, after about 19 hours of waiting I was able to boot to Safe Mode.
Safe mode froze up loading avgidsha.sys.
Some searching later it was advised to use the AVG Rescue CD or USB boot. I opted for the USB since there in no way I can burn a cd without the system booting.
USB was prepared, booted from it and receive the error WARNING: No Configuration File Found
I could not find any mention of this on the support site so some urgent help would be appreciated.
