No internet connection after updat

I am sorry to hear that. I would suggest you to follow the instructions to change the Firewall settings : Open AVG Zen -> Internet Security -> Click on Menu in the top right corner -> Settings -> Components -> Firewall -> Customize -> Network Profiles -> Change the networks from Public to Private and check if you are able to access the Internet.

This morning AVG requested me to restart my desktop. Since then I have no internet connection and no e-mail, before the restart everything worked fine. Windows 10 says the DSN server cann't be reached. For my desktop I normally use a LAN connection, changing to WIFI didn't solve the problem. The laptop which I am using now still works fine. There must be a hoax in the AVG update, which is difficult to repair without internet access.
