No Internet Connection after Updating Big Sur on Mac

No, it doesn't work.
This time I switched VPN off and the result was, that the Webbrowser worked, but the E-Mail Program couldn't retrieve e-mails!
I now deinstalled the AVG VPN and everything works properly!
So any suggestions? Because if not I can't work with the VPN anymore and so I don't won't pay for that anymore!

Hi!

I just updated from Mojave to Big Sur. Everything seems to work very well, also the AVG Internet Security works fine after allowing some privacy stuff in the settings.

BUT: Every time I want to connect the AVG Secure VPN there is no connection to the Internet at all.
I already tried to pick another location…nothing. 
Switching VPN off, everything works ok!

I already read, that Big Sur doesn't allow to hide the IP.

So please help out, because if it doesn't work probably, it isn't necessary anymore for me.
