I'm having a Windows laptop that I want to use for live audio processing. For this, I need the lowest DPC latency I can get.
I am intending to use a free version of AVG (for now), in the occasional times I need an internet connection.
During audio processing, I need to turn off internet, firewall, all unnecessary drivers and also AVG (and also not having internet connection). However, I want to know, if I can be sure there will be no popups, updates, performance lost by AVG or other unexpected (user) interruptions by AVG.
Hello Michael,
We are glad to clarify your request. As you do not need to receive pop-up or notification during the audio processing, you can put AVG Anti-virus in silent mode. Also, please refer the below article to know how to manage AVG notification :

Please try the above steps and let us know if its help you. Thank you.
