What about this do you not understand? My problem is that I CANNOT UNINSTALL AVG AntiVirus for Mac. That's UNINSTALL!!!  When I tried to UNINSTALL AntiVirus for Mac. my iMac freezes.

Now today I have found that I am not allowed to access my Mac password. In the same way as trying to uninstall AntiVirus for Mac, if I want to download Microsoft Office update the download freezes when I should be entering password. AntiVirus for Mac has taken over my Mac computer?

Nothing in Junk Mail. The only email from AVG that I have received, ironically, is one asking how would I rate the AVG forum community. ie "Did AVG respond to your problem"?    Answer:  NO!

Hey AVG community. I contacted this forum on August 8, 2015 about having a problem with my anti virus for Mac. I was immediately contacted and asked for more information. I replied and as of this time - 6+ days later I have not heard a thing. NOT A REPLY AT ALL.

Hi Randy,
Did you try uninstalling AVG from downloaded package? If yes and it didn't worked please provide us with exact version (build number of AVG installed).

AVG AntiVirus for Mac. I went to the AVG.com website and downloaded the AVG AntiVirus for Mac (free version)

Me too. AVG site keeps rejecting the license number and I have used every suggested method to try to activate.  I am considering this a learned lesson; lost $$$; and,  going back to McAfee.
