No sound after running tune up and driver updater
same thing here after tune up and driver update installed yesterday, what is going on ??
Took me 6 days to get it working. Tried all the software tricks, downloaded drivers from UA website (I have a volt 1), defragged the disc, device manager showed no problems, uninstalled and reinstalled Volt, etc. Originally, I was plugged into a USB3 hub, and that worked fine. Changed to every other port- not working.
Then I tried plgging into a separate USB2 port and it worked!! I have a feeling that the new drivers made the USB3 ports not backward compatible. What was even weirder was that any program that dealt with sound wouldn’t work at all (YouTube, reaper, separate wave files, etc.) Everything seems to be working now from the dedicated USB2 port. Hope this helps. Incredibly annoying problem!
