Could you please confirm which AVG product you aren trying uninstall? Did you receive any error message while trying to uninstall? If so, Could you please share us the screenshot of the page (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Create-screenshot) which shows the error message?

Will not uninstall it like a parasitic Virus and refuses to uninstall. or is the only way to remover is to do a factory restore on the computer( the only thing I haven't tried YET!!!)
