My previous question was on this subject, but the reply did NOT address my question, in which I stated that I bought the $50 one-time fix, which allows an additional 30 days to call back if the original problem recurs. I called back often and spoke to many support staff, all in the Phillipines. The majority of them had accents so heavy, I could barely understand them and many had very limited English skills so they didn't understand some of my questions. This problem caused me a lot of frustration and annoyance. It also very much prolonged the phone conversations which were 25-55 minutes longer than necessary.
The reply I got did not address my question. Instead, it talked about AVG Tune-up.
My reply is:
AVG PC Tune-up has absolutely NOTHING to do with my original question.
My original question regards AVG agents whose heavy accents and limited knowledge of the English language caused a lot of problems for me: frustration, annoyance and phone calls that are much longer than necessary.
I'm considering buying AVG Internet Security program, HOWEVER, if the 24/7 support staff consists primarily of people who are not NATIVE English speakers, I refuse to buy it. I am not willing to struggle again with agents whose heavy accents and limited English skills cause the problems described above. So, my new question is this: Are the majority of 24/7 support agents also not native English speakers? If not, I will not buy any AVG programs. thank you
