Hello Andrew,
We'll look into this and help you.
The "Fake Website Shield" is available in the latest version of AVG Internet Security and protects you against DNS (Domain Name System) hijacking to ensure you get to the actual website you want to visit.
This feature is designed to require minimal input from you. To ensure you are protected, all you need to do is keep Fake Website Shield enabled.
The DNS protection offered by the "Fake Website Shield", could cause a conflict with the 'Nord VPN' application.
Please mention the version of AVG Internet Security installed on your computer, so that we can investigate this further.
Thanks in advance.
I have been having problems getting NordVPN to work with AVG. The advice from NordVPN is to disable the Fake Site Shield. With this feature disabled the VPN works well. When questioned NordVPN say that this is an issue that AVG would need to fix (not NordVPN's issue). Any help appreciated as I do not want to run without the Fake Site Shield. Thank you.
Thank you for the clarification, Andrew.
