Normal google engine search causes an URL:Blacklist warning on my browser

Hello!

For a few days now I've had an odd problem that doesn't go away. Whenever I search on google.com (yes normal google.com) after i press enter to search or just click the search button, I get a warning from avg telling me this (picture attached).

So basically a threat has been blocked from addedprint.com.

My browser is chrome, I'm on Windows10 64bit. I already emptied all the temporary browser files, I ran a scan on avg, found nothing.

Hopefully you can help me.

Best regards,

Jussi

I am also having the exact same issue.  The same popup from AVG as is shown above comes with nearly every google search in Chrome.  I did the browser reset and reinstalled Chrome but the problem is still there.  Looking forward to see how Jussi fared and hope that a common solution can be found.

Hey!

Thank you for your reply.

The problem is still there. And I do not have it on other browser (Edge).

We are sorry to hear this.

We will help you to resolve the issue.

We request you to reinstall the browser and check for the issue again.

Are you facing this issue in the other browser too?

Keep us posted.

Thank you, Rakshith,

For some reason I am unable to add my screen shot.  The box to choose a photo is greyed out.  The one I am getting looks exactly like the one Jussi was getting.  Happy to send the screen shot another way if you would like.

I believe I have a solution to this problem.  I had a Chrome extension named "Video Downloader Professional" installed on my PC.  When removing this extension from Chrome the problem seems to have gone away.  I researched on line and it seems that a malware attached to this extension may be the problem.  Good luck.
