Norton is not installed - there are no conflicting anti-virus products on the laptop. See all the internet reports of this scam. IT IS NOT NORTON - IT'S A SCAM!

Hello Ken. I kindly request you to have a look at this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-remove-conflicting-anti-virus-products to remove conflicting Antivirus program. Thank you.
Why isn't AVG protecting a Windows 7 computer from the Norton Adware scam? Further, how can it be removed?
Ken, Also just in case there are any Norton remnants left after the uninstall download & run the Norton removal tool (https://support.norton.com/sp/en/uk/home/current/solutions/kb20080710133834EN_EndUserProfile_en_us).
