Actually, I have two problems, but I will address one here. I have been trying to download and install AVG ZEN Web tuneup function, but have not been able to remove AVG Toolbar. I have followed instructions using my control panel to uninstall AVG Toolbar, but I've been sent from there to an instructional website telling me to go to Chrome, look up the extension, and click on the trash can in the box. I had no extension for AVG in Chrome, so I went back to Zen, which still did not install, but informed me that Web tuneup could not be installed until AVG Toolbar was removed. I tried this several times, even rebooting…still the same results. Should I go into my registry and remove the Toolbar entry? Should I go into My Downloads and remove AVG Toolbar entry there? Sometimes when I go into another search engine, AVG Toolbar interrupts my search, even on a secure site, and forces me to use AVG Search. Does anyone else have this problem? I need to be able to take advantage of the functions of my AVG security program that I have paid for. I have not had any problems or worries in the past until ZEN was added. Now I have another problem with a Trojan virus and malware that another program has caught that AVG does not acknowledge on the reports. I will, however, address that problem shortly in another session. Thank you for any assistance or suggestions you may have regarding the Web tuneup issue.
