Hi, I am not able to reinstall AVG on windows 8. It is thorwing below error:

"Waiting for watchdog service failed"

I already removed existing antivirus on my system. Also I am not able to remove the AVG directory in my program files(though I am logged in as Adminstrator). It says that SYSTEM user has full control over the directory. 

Please help !!!

Hello Gaurav. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. I would request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install. To determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218

To download the remover tool, please click on this link: http://www.avg.com/utilities . Then Please try to install AVG program. Thank you.
