Not able to watch Netflix while using VPN secure? Any ideas on fix

It's something we have very little control of as its mainly up to the service provider (Eg.Sky, BBC, Netflix) whether they allow VPN connections or not. In some regions, VPN doesn't work due to the restrictions on the concerned website.

Well, then, what good is AVG VPN?  I had my hopes when I installed the trial yesterday.  Guess I should have did some research first, as it does not work.  Glad I didn't purchase it first.  I mean what's the point?  People use VPNs mostly to watch Netflix etc.  If AVG VPN doesn't work because of retrictions imposed on the "other end", why bother with it at all?

So disappointed. :-(

We would like to clarify the functionality of VPN application.
It helps you to secure the online privacy and there are chances for you to visit other websites which are available for particular regions.
However, website like "Netflix" have their own restriction policy which cannot be bypassed using our VPN application.
