Hello Andy. Thank you for your patience. My name is Shawn, and I am writing to you on behalf of the AVG Senior Support team.
Regrettably, we were not able to replicate the issue you are experiencing. I suspect the issue is specific to your computer.
We tested on W10 + AVG VPN, Location: London P2P, and natwest.com works. Also tested on on Mac (Catallina) and the page works. Tested several browsers, FireFox, Chrome, Safari, with VPN - London server.
The following self help, https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=AVG-Secure-VPN-exclude-server&q=exclude&supportType=home, may be helpful as a work around, as it provides detailed instruction to exclude servers from AVG Secure VPN.
Good luck. All the best, Shawn
Hi.
Mac OS X El Capitan.
AVG internet and AVG Secure VPN (Multi-Device) Subscribed
Last time I accessed this site was Tuesday 2nd March, to day I get the Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER.
On the natwest.com certificate the common name is AVG untrusted CA and the Validity is shown as
Not Before 2/24/2020, 12:00:00 AM (Greenwich Mean Time)
Not After 2/23/2022, 11:59:59 PM (Greenwich Mean Time)
On the AVG trusted CA certificate the details are:
Common name: AVG trusted CA
Validity
Not Before 2/12/2018, 6:10:38 PM (Greenwich Mean Time)
Not After 2/10/2028, 6:10:38 PM (Greenwich Mean Time)
The AVG certificate is up to date in Firefox, why has the natwest certificate not been updated?
Please can some one help.
Thanks
Andy

Hi Dinesh,
I have tried it in 3 browsers with the VPN enabled and disabled. Nat West checked out the IP yesterday. The location is London.
I think the problem is with the certificate that Nat West is sending. See below, the common name and
issue date don't match AVG latest issue of thier certificate.

Would you be so kind to try accessing the website in different browser to check?
Also, let us know if AVG Secure VPN is enabled. If so, let us know the server (location) to which you're connected & your geolocation (physical address)/
