I understand this must be upsetting.
We don't want to lose a valuable customer and hence, request you to get our additional support who can identify the root cause and fix the issue.
An email instruction has been sent on how to get connected with them.
If the email is not found in inbox do check in spam and junk folders.
I have bought this AVG performance TWICE, now just today I bought the entire package and installed it and AVG keeps telling me to upgrade. Upgrade to what! AVG tune up short cut does not even open. I scan the computer it tells me all the problems with performance but wont do anything because it wants me to buy it again! I go to my email to do step by step Installation but cant do anything because the short cut is not responding. I had enough with AVG, I cancelled the subscription and I will never buy or download your products.
I have this problem all the time. It is ridiculous because I have had AVG for years and every so often I get AVG starting up as an introductory product--, or suggesting I upgrade, when I already have the highest level?????? Why AVG cannot treat customers correctly is beyond me. There is no answer to this problem because AVG are unfortunately totally incompetent in dealing with this anomoly.
