Not marking emails as SPAM

Hello Tracy,
Please be informed that the name AVG Internet Security belongs to AVG Internet Security 2017 version and AVG Protection is for AVG Internet Security 2016. Hence AVG Protection should be removed in order to avoid conflicts.

Do you use email client( like Outlook, Windows live, Thunderbird) to view emails? If so, please check if AVG Anti spam component is installed AVG Internet Security.

To check that, please open AVG-> Internet Security-> Menu-> Settings-> Components-> check if Anti spam is turned on. If it is not turned on, then please click on 'Install component' button to get it installed.

Keep us informed about the status to assist further.
Thank you.

Hi, I have the paid version of AVG Internet Security.  Yesterday it did an update and since then my spam emails are not being marked as SPAM.  I've noticed in the list of installed programs I used to have AVG Internet Security and AVG Protection.  Now the AVG Protection seems to be gone.  I didn't uninstall it.  Can you please help get the SPAM filter working again ?
