Not pdating ,and wont install

my avg has been refusing to update itself,always coming up with a error,so i thought i'd un-install in and try again,but now it wont even let me install the avg onto my pc,the pc itself is a fresh install and only 2 weeks old on this current install,any advise welcome,thank in advance

Are you trying to install free or paid version of AVG Antivirus?

In this case, let us try reinstalling using removal tools.
Run AVG removal and clear tool as mentioned (here) to remove AVG traces.
NOTE: If there are no AVG program, found click on "Run Anyway" to proceed with the removal.
Install AVG Antivirus free using offline installer provided before.

Please follow below mentioned steps to update Google DNS address:
1. Please press Windows and R key simultaneously to open Run command.
2. In Run window, type "ncpa.cpl" without the quotes and click on OK button.
3. In Network connections window, please right-click the connection you use, and select Properties.
4. Double-click the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item on the Networking tab.
5. Click Advanced and select the DNS tab. If there are any DNS server IP addresses listed there, write them down for future reference, and remove them from this window. Click OK.
6) Select Use the following DNS server addresses.
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4.
7) Click on Apply and Ok.

Perform installation using AVG Antivirus free offline installer.
For 32 bit: https://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x86_1819.exe
For 64 bit: https://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_x64_1818.exe

its the free version,it had been working fine,its installed on my laptop no problem,and working fine,and the pc stopped about 8 days ago ,but before that,no problem either

right ive done that,its installed,but when i go to update i get the error screen againUser-added image

well spent last half hour uninstalling and trying to install it again,i was successful in installing ,but still getting the error message when i try and update it though
