A couple days ago I noticed the AVG Free stopped running scans. My dashboard displays all red circles and says no components detected. Clicking a link, it looks as if the website for AVG is offline. I've tried several things including downloading the .exe file to re-install, but the first run through says the program is already running. Tried again to run total computer scan. Nothing. Tried to un-install using the uninstall program in control panel several times. Unable to uninstall each time. I opened up the installer and tried to do a repair and and uninstall from there. Both times I got screens about errors. I can't think of anything else to do. Can someone help? Is this a virus?
