I have the same problem on several computers except they are running Internet Security Ultimate Unlimited. The problem showed up within the last week after an update to Windows 10 v 1709. I don't know if there was a concurrent AVG update, but the currently installed version is 17.9.3040. Virus definition version is 171227-2.
Hi Balasubramanian,
How soon is "earliest as possible"? I ran a scan last night and the problem is still there.
Kind Regards,
Wayne
Hello William,
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused. In this case, I request you to repair AVG Internet Security once. After that open the AVG user interface on your desktop, and click the gear icon next to Scan Computer > Select Schedule Scan > Scheduling > Unable the Scheduling > and check the box "Shut down the system after the scan finishes". After that, you can check if your computer is shutting down after the AVG schedule scan.
Best regards,
Alok.

Hi,
Not shutting down when "Shut down the system after the scan finishes" has been selected during scheduling. I have the latest version and updates. Any thoughts as to why this might be happening?
Hi,
Before posting my question I had "repaired" but it made no difference. You were getting back to me after I provided the Sys Info data but I am still awaiting your response on this. Problem of not shutting down is still there.
Kind Regards,
Wayne
Wayne,
I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to you. Could you confirm which version of AVG is installed on your PC?
