When an E-mail arrives,  a little black box shows up,  saying "scanning email".  This is a pain under the pinafore;  everything is paralysed for a while while this displays.   It appear there is nothing I can do,  but wait.  Can one disable this pointless annoucement ?  If so,  how ?

T R, Following on from Avinash's posting within the 'Appearance' you can actually just isolate & disable 'Email Scanner notifications'.
